Preparatory thesis seminar for thesis students in the program Media and Communication writing their thesis in the Spring 2025

For students planning to write their Master thesis in spring 2025, Media and Communication is organising a preparatory thesis seminar to help you getting started with the thesis process. At the seminar, we will:

• Review the thesis requirements for Media and Communication

• Discuss the thesis writing process

• Provide space for you to present your ideas for a thesis and obtain feedback

• Work on a preliminary problem formulation for your thesis

• Facilitate the formation of groups

• Provide information about supervisors

In order to be as inclusive as possible and allow for students who are not on campus to participate, we’re offering this seminar online. You are expected to have turned your camera on while attending the seminar and do group work. Please make sure you prepare yourself accordingly. Please prepare your participation in the seminar by outlining some preliminary problem statements as well as suitable theories and methods for your thesis.
