2. Semester

For students who started in September:

  • Compulsory course: Innovation management (10 ECTS)
  • Optional course: Advanced methodology (5 ECTS)
  • Project or project-oriented internship*: Innovation and innovation management (15 ECTS)

  • Only one internship may be taken during the study programme.

For students who started in February:

  • Compulsory course: Managing Legitimacy and Public Relations (5 ETCS)
  • Compulsory course: Strategic Management (5 ECTS)
  • Optional course: Thematic seminar: Problem-driven Management or Leader-Lab (5 ECTS)
  • Project or project-oriented internship*: The Firm's Resources and Value Creation (15 ECTS)

3. Semester

For students who started in September:

  • Compulsory course: Managing Legitimacy and Public Relations (5 ETCS)
  • Compulsory course: Strategic Management (5 ECTS)
  • Optional course: Thematic seminar: Problem-driven Management or Leader-Lab (5 ECTS)

  • Master Thesis (30 ECTS)

Transitional rules

Students admitted before 1 September 2019 and who have completed either the course 'Innovation management' (5 ECTS) or 'Theme seminar - Organisation of complex and inter-organisational innovation processes' (5 ECTS) must participate in the newly created course 'Innovation management' of 10 ECTS, but they must take their examination based on the study regulation of 1 September 2018. This means that the student is examined in the course that has not previously been passed (either Innovation management of 5 ECTS or Theme seminar - Organisation of complex and inter-organisational innovation processes of 5 ECTS).

Students admitted before 1 September 2018 and who have completed either the course Business Management and Leadership or Business Studies must participate in the course ‘Business Studies and Management & Leadership Processes’ and must take their exam as per the study regulation of 1 September 2017. This means that the student will take the exam in the course that has not previously been passed (Business Studies or Business Management & Leadership).
